You may have wondered why this blog disappeared for quite a while, well, it's mainly because I was concerned about potential employers being able to find out about my personal life.
I now reopen it because that fear is gone. And I'll include that reason among many other blessings I've received during the past months.
1. I am now officially employed. I will be working with the ACCRA law firm. The Lord has been very good with this one considering that I prayed really hard for this. To express my faith in that prayer, I decided to solely apply with this firm. (A lesson I learned the hard way during internship - lack of faith resulted to simultaneous offers, which resulted in a dispute with the other firm.)
2. I am now officially an Ateneo Law Graduate. To top it all off, my parents walked on stage and had the privilege of hanging a medal on their son. The thesis I worked on turned out to be okay, but I still couldn't believe it was used by the Lord as a way of honoring my parents. To those who are doing their thesis, I say this without cliche - do your best as to not regret anything, and pray for best thesis.
3. I was (finally) able to see my name on the Dean's List. This is a small feat, which meant a lot to me. I barely passed my first year subjects, barely made it to the list during 2nd year, but was finally able to maintain DL status for the entire half of my stay in law school. It was, for me, a testament that prayer coupled with hardwork works - even for the average ones.
4. My ASIL presidency has come to an end. At the end of the year, Ateneo Law could proudly say that it is the only law school in the country to have produced five (5) moot court teams, representing the Philippines abroad, and bringing honor to the country, within a single academic year.
5. The Lord has answered my prayers and have shown me His will. And I thank Him for leading me to Carmi. The Lord has been very good to us and has been faithful in seeing us through everything thrown in our way. I am excited for whatever He has in store for us and our relationship.
THERE!!! I hope you pray with me as we take the Bar Exams this September. As of now, everything still seems to be on schedule.
